Our Mission
Lafz Takhti was born from a simple frustration: modern text editors do not understand poetry. They fight your spellings, ignore your rhythm, and break your flow. We built LAFZ to be different - an editor that speaks your language and respects your art.
The Story
As lovers of Urdu poetry, we found ourselves constantly battling autocorrect while trying to write in Roman Urdu. Every mohabbat became mahogany, every ishq became gibberish.
We built Lafz Takhti to be the editor we wished existed - one that understands the unique patterns of Roman Urdu, suggests appropriate rhymes (qaafiya), and learns from your personal vocabulary.
Our goal is to make writing poetry as natural as thinking it.
